Announcing the 2012 La Entrada Musical

The La Entrada musical is open to all 4th thru 8th graders

  • Registration for the musical will remain open until March 1
  • Auditions will be held March 7 and 8, 3-5pm
  • A list of characters, script and score excerpts can be found on the Broadway Jr Website
  • Audition Format: Your child will be asked to sing a short song of their choice, or may sing a song from the show. If your child is serious about a role, have them prepare for the lead song of that character. They will also be asked to read from the script with a few other students. All students are asked to sing and read, no matter what type of part they are seeking.
  • Performances will held on Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18
  • Rehearsals will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-5pm beginning March 19.
  • Cost per student is $200
  • Financial assistance is available for the play. Please contact Emily McDonough for more information.
  • Mandatory Parent Meeting: Will be held Thursday, March 8 at 7pm in the MUR. Parents will be informed of the rehearsal schedules, as well as sign up to volunteer for the vital support positions necessary to make the Musical happen. We cannot do this without volunteers. 
  • You are responsible to provide your child's costumes, which must be approved by the Director
  • Ensure your child has lines and songs memorized the day they rehearse per the Director's rehearsal schedule
  • Cancellations: 90% of the fee will be refunded if the LLL Registrar is contacted by end of the first week of rehearsals. After this date, no refunds will be processed.
