Registration for Fall Sports will open August 23, 7pm and remain open until Monday, September 5 at 9pm.
Flag Football |
La Entrada's flag football program is open to all students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades. There are two teams, organized by grade level, based on the number of students that register from each grade. We will have a 'Varsity Team' comprised of 8th graders and some 7th graders who should play alongside the larger, faster students. Our 'Juniors Team' will be comprised of 6th graders and some 7th graders who should play at that level for safety and fun. The league will hold an evaluation day for all 7th graders in early September.
We enter our teams in a recreational league comprised of teams from public and private middle schools in the area. The season begins in September and runs through November. There are generally two practices and one game per week. The schools in the league take turns hosting games throughout the season.
Practices are TYPICALLY held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:15 - 5:15p at La Entrada field. Games are on Fridays, either home or away, starting between 4 & 4:30pm depending upon location. Games usually last ~1.5 hours. The season ends the week before Thanksgiving.
Cost for the season: $150 per player
The La Entrada Volleyball program is open to girls in the 4th through 8th grades. Teams are based on grade to align with the guidelines of the recreational league run by the Menlo Park Youth Volleyball Program. There will be one game and at least two practices per week as determined by the coach. The season begins in September and runs through November. Games are played at the Burgess Recreation Center against other schools in the area.
- League games begin Monday, September 26
- League games will end no later than December 1
- 4th and 5th grade teams DO NOT have playoffs
- Rally scoring will be used
- Teams will provide scorekeepers
- Start times for games will range from 3:45-6:25pm
- Schedules will be available by 5pm on Tuesday, September 13
- Game days:
- Mondays 8th and 7th grade girls
- Tuesdays 6th and 4th/5th combined girls
- Thursdays 4th/5th combined girls and OVERFLOW games

Tournament Volleyball |
The LLL will be sponsoring a Tournament Team of volleyball players for 7th and 8th grade girls only. This team will be in addition to participation with the regular volleyball program with the Burgess League. There will be seperate team and there will be an additional registration payment for those players making the team. The team will be formed via try-outs and determined by an impartial coach associated with the LLL.
Cost for the Season: To be determined after selection to the team.
Tryout for the tournament team (held at La Entrada Gym) will be Saturday, August 20 from 10am - 12n.
Final selection of players will be announced shortly after the tryout. Registration and payment will occur after the final selection of players is made.
First practice will be Saturday, August 27th at La Entrada Gym.
